Fringing has gone through a facelift

An old feather has inspire me to give an old cuff a facelift. What was ones Fringing is now One Thousand and One Nights. Any similarities to Aladdin’s hat is just a coincidence 🙂

Hera, Grecian Inspired cuff

A huge trend this summer 2012 has some influences of Grecian culture. The mix of bohemian and Grecian accents put a unique spin on the casual and relaxed style of this season’s Grecian influences. Glimmering gold details take this hippie look into a more glamorous level. This style trend includes the tendencies in head pieces, shoes, dresses and accessories. The Hera cuff is our version of this season’s Grecian trend. This cuff could be worn at writs level or way high as seen on Nicole Richie for the extra Grecian Goddess look.

Inka Rock

Colorful Peruvian textiles, black pleather a few spike studs and Atahualpa (emperor of the Tahuantinsuyu) make this cuff a truly Inka Rock feast. I love getting inspiration from these colorful fabrics. And now a little Ceviche a glass of Pisco Sour and we are definitely getting this party started.

Heavy Metal

Finding supplies at my toolbox at home is never a problem. This time we revisited an old time favorite the “hex nut.” To brightened it up we are using some threaded yellow fabric and gold painted aluminum foil. Also each hex nut is hand painted in gold acrylic. Heavy Metal is a piece that will definitely make any outfit a bit more special.

Dip Dye Effect–Color Me Lucky

Dip dye effect, a huge trend this season. From hair, to nails, clothes and accessories–men, women, kids, everyone is doing the dip dye effect. I love the extreme contrast of dip-dye denim, from light to extreme blue, or even maybe a pop of color. This was our Dries Van Noten inspiration. Color Me Lucky cuff, gives this trend another spin and can make any outfit look very unique.

The hamsa hand is a popular amulet for magical protection from the envious or evil eye. The words hamsa means “five” and refer to the digits on the hand

This cuff has five charms on the front and one on the back for extra luck and protection. This particular cuff is made out of paper, braided white elastic rope, white cable wire and hamsa hand charms. It is also hand painted in white acrylic.

Monochromatic-ish

Monochromatic and color blocking one of the biggest trends this season. Monochromatic-ish, not entirely black and white but I just couldn’t come up with a better name. It has a hint of silver in acrylic paint and wire. Hope you love it as much as we do.
