The military inspired trend seems to make its rounds every few years and it’s back again this Fall 2012. This season is a more modern military, with blacks and metallic gold and silver in items like jackets, coats and pants. Of course, you can never go wrong by incorporating some olive green into your look.
Colonel is our military inspired cuff. This cuff has a distressed vintage look with chains and metallic accents, hand painted in acrylic. This cuff is a must for this coming Fall season!
A recent visit to a local flea market has inspired us to make this new cuff. A place where you can find many treasures. I saw many pretty things at the Flea Market, a variety of vendors selling everything from crafts to antiques and collectibles. Flea Market cuff is eclectic, chic and fun.
This cuff was made out of paper, gold spikes, distressed and bleached black denim, vintage brooch, gold eyelets and crystals.
Special thanks to Lo-Plumas.
Lace has it’s place for fall and it’s pretty much everywhere. Black lace is back in a major way for fall 2012. We are seeing lace applique on a lot of designers’ pre-fall collections. Whether you want to look edgy, classy or retro there is something in lace for everyone this fall. Modern Widow is our combination of bold neon colors (an other huge trend this season) and the black lace. Totally edgy and super cool!
This cuff is made out of black lace, glass black stone, paper and yellow glow-in-the-dark acrylic paint.
Spikes and studs continue to be a huge trend this fall 2012 season. Designers like Christian Louboutin and Jeffrey Campbell are spiking their designs. Leopard and spikes combo, one of my favorites, a little bit sexy, a little bit rock and rock. Like our new Bad Kitty cuff, it really is incredibly awesome.
Shiraz, the poetic capital of Persia and also one of my favorite cuffs in our vintage collection. In one of my recent visits to my mother in-law’s closet, I came across this awesome vintage Persian fabric. A little bit of history and some Shiraz wine gave me the inspiration. Burgundy colors, gold tones and Persian patterns, make this Shiraz cuff a stunning piece. The Jehgheh Pattern, paisley design, Persian Pickles—call it what you want, it’s beautiful. The design originated in the Safavid Dynasty of the Persia Empire (from 1501 to 1736) and has since been used widely in Persian and Iranian textiles.
This particular cuff is made out of paper, vintage Persian fabric, vintage burgundy leather, gold eyelets, gunmetal link chain painted in gold acrylic.
